Mr Tien launched his new e-Learning Portal, www.MathExamReady.com, on his birthday on 6th April 2010.

Dear Parents

We are seeing an increase in level of difficulty of questions asked in our school and national math examinations year after year.

My question is this, if a teacher is still given the same amount of time to work with your child and yet is required to impart more skills set to meet the new demands, may I know how can a teacher do so when he/she is given the same amount of time every year?

Well, the answer is, the teacher will either …..

a. choose to cramp in more exercises in every lesson plan and deliver these lessons at a much faster pace, leaving the teacher with little or no time to clear the doubts of the slower group….. OR

b. choose to impart only the basic core concepts and teach at a pace whereby all students’ doubts will be clarified, compromising on exposing the students to those more challenging variations of question types

Our solution to bridge the gap between limited time available and more strategies to teach is via our e-Learn programme, Ace Your Exam ~ PSLE Series

Incorporating our proprietary teaching methodologies, Ace Your Exam ~ PSLE Series aims to impart students the unconventional strategies to tackle these unfamiliar and challenging questions, training students to excel in all their math examinations.

Our “Ace Your Exam ~ PSLE Series” Unique Features:

Designed by the Topic, ensuring exposure to ‘tough unfamiliar’ questions of each topic

Quality practices, worthy of our students’ time

Released weekly, cultivating regular math practice habits

Simulated full length Exam Papers prior major examinations, building confidence and a measure of readiness

Real exam questions used, exposing them to genuine challenging questions of their level

Full solutions in view and video format, serving an option to learn at their own pace

Archived e-lessons, providing a platform for re-practise anytime they wish

All in all, our e-Learning portal offers our students the flexibility of time to practice the different question variants of each topic, assess and gauge their understanding of that topic, and to allow our students to view the correction videos over and over again to ensure total understanding for highest retention.

We received overwhelming response for the parents workshop last saturday at IRAS Revenue House. Parents feedback that the session was very useful and informative.

Many were impressed by how Mr Tien was able to solve the tough PSLE questions using simple methods.

To meet the increasing demands from recent PSLE examinations, we will be launching a new e-learning portal in April. This online learning portal will help expose students to challenging questions and be imparted the unconventional strategies to solve them with the step-by-step solution video. These e-lessons provide a platform for students to learn at their own pace and re-practise anytime they wish. Thus, many parents enrolled their child for this new online learning on the spot!

Many also hope that Mr Tien will be able to conduct more of such events.
